The Remote Reading Capillary Manometer solves one of the most persistent challenges in industrial instrumentation: how to read a pressure gauge when the measurement point is physically inaccessible, dangerously hot, or subjected to intense vibration. By connecting the process port to the display head via a precision-engineered copper or stainless steel capillary tube, the gauge dial can be positioned up to 5 meters away from the actual measurement point, allowing operators to monitor pressure in complete safety and comfort.
The capillary tube—typically ranging from 0.5 m to 5 m in standard configurations—acts as a mechanical signal transmission line. Filled with a temperature-stable hydraulic oil or glycerin compound, it faithfully transfers pressure impulses from the process connection to the Bourdon tube movement inside the display head without any electronic signal conversion, battery dependency, or wireless interference. This purely mechanical design means zero signal latency and absolute immunity to electromagnetic interference—a critical advantage in environments with heavy electrical equipment.
Our 100,000-level clean workshop ensures that the capillary tube is filled under vacuum conditions with precisely measured and degassed fill fluid. Air bubbles inside the capillary system are the primary cause of nonlinearity and pointer hesitation in lesser products. Our degassing and vacuum-fill process eliminates this issue entirely, delivering a response curve that is linear and repeatable from the first reading to the millionth. Every unit is then verified under our Advanced MES digital tracking system, with calibration data logged against the unit's serial number for complete traceability.
The display head is completely sealed and can be specified in a panel-mount, surface-mount, or flush-mount configuration, giving system designers maximum flexibility. The stainless steel capillary is armored with a PVC or stainless steel braided outer sheath for physical protection in environments where mechanical damage is a risk. The result is a manometer system that is not only more readable and safer than a direct-mount gauge, but also more durable in the harshest operating environments found in boiler rooms, refineries, and heavy manufacturing plants.
